Lexington Country Club real estate, listings of homes and condos for sale. Lexington in Fort Myers was first developed in 1996. It offers a 72 par, 18 hole golf course with driving range, single family homes, attached homes, detached villas, coach homes ( condo with garage), and condominiums with car ports. Lexington is primarily a bundled golf community (in sub-division Golf Villages like Wedgewood and Waterford and single family homes) but has sub-divisions where golf is not bundled (in Lake Villages like Southmont Cove, Sutton Walk and Sommerset Villas), where owners pay for golf only when they play. When last we checked in June 2018, owners who lived in communities where golf is bundled paid a master HOA fee of $1,458 per quarter, and owners who pay for golf only when they play paid a master HOA fee of $946, per quarter. To that you add the condo fees or HOA fees for single family homes. There is also a one time joining fee (Capital Contribution Fee) of $5000 and a yearly $700 restaurant dining fee. Lexington has always been a financially sound community with an active resale market.
The highest building is located at Sutton Walk with 4 floors. Lexington has a clubhouse with restaurant and bar, 2 large, heated community swimming pools and several smaller neighborhood pools, 12 lighted Hydro-Grid tennis courts and 1479 residences scattered around the golf course. The main meeting point at Lexington is the Tiki hut in the Southmont Cove sub-division (above) where you also find the fitness center, wifi, library and a small beach.
Lexington Country Club is conveniently close to shopping and dining, a library, the beaches of Sanibel and Fort Myers Beach and the International airport.
